Agentic User Experience (AUX)
AUX is the design discipline focused on crafting interfaces and workflows where AI agents — not just users — are first-class actors. Unlike traditional UX, which centres on human clicks and navigation, AUX designs for delegation, autonomy, and trust. The user sets a goal; the agent figures out how to achieve it. AUX defines the rules of that handoff: what the agent can do alone, when it should ask, how it reports back, and how the human stays in control without micromanaging. It's the foundational concept for any product that wants agents to do real work, not just answer questions.
