Goal-Based Interaction
Goal-based interaction is a paradigm where the user expresses what they want to achieve (the outcome) rather than specifying the steps to get there. Instead of clicking through five screens to book a flight, the user says 'get me to Berlin next Tuesday, cheapest option, aisle seat' and the agent handles everything. The UX challenge is in goal specification (helping users articulate what they want), progress visibility (showing the agent's work), and outcome verification (confirming the result matches the intent).
