Post-UI Software

Post-UI software operates primarily through agent action rather than human interaction with graphical interfaces. It's not no-UI — it's beyond-UI. The software has interfaces when needed (configuration, monitoring, exceptions) but the primary value delivery happens without them. Most of the software's work is invisible to the user, surfaced only through results and notifications. This challenges the entire discipline of product design — when your product's best feature is that you never need to open it.
