Chain-of-thought orchestration manages how an agent's reasoning process is structured, displayed, and used across complex tasks. Beyond simple step-by-step thinking, orchestration covers when to show reasoning to users (transparency vs noise), how to branch reasoning for parallel exploration, when to summarise and compress reasoning chains, and how to use reasoning artifacts from one step as inputs to the next.
